Who we are

A place where every teen belongs.

We started in 2024 because we saw a real gap in the lives of teenagers around us – socially, morally, spiritually and emotionally. CIA is not linked to one denomination. Any teen is welcome, whether they go to church or not, and we work alongside local churches and schools rather than competing with them.

We don't just want to talk about values. We want to help young people live them, so that it shows in how they talk, how they treat others and in what they do.

Belong

A safe social space with trusted adults and real friends.

Build

Character, leadership, life skills and service.

Become

Steadfast, equipped and connected young adults.

What we do

Play builds trust. Trust opens the door to real change.

Teenagers don't open up because of information. They open up because of relationship. Everything we do starts with fun and belonging, and grows into mentorship and leadership.

Monthly socials

A big, fun gathering once a month – games, music and inspiration. The easiest way for a new teen to walk in the door.

Mentorship

Young adults walk alongside teens, and experienced adults share life and work wisdom with teens who share their dreams.

Boys to boys, girls to girls

Peer-to-peer groups where sensitive topics can be talked about with trust, honesty and the right adult oversight.

CIA Agents

Teens earn points for taking part, showing respect and serving in their own church – and can become CIA Agents.

Senior Agents

Teens chosen for character, not popularity, are trained to lead small groups under adult mentorship.

In schools

We build relationships at Hoërskool Hartbeespoort through games and values talks, and we're available to other schools.

Camps & weekends

Boys and girls camps with hiking, adventure, campfire talks and memories that last.

Our big dream

CIA BASE Harties – a permanent youth centre for Hartbeespoort.

A supervised, safe place where teenagers aged 12–19 can hang out, get study support, be mentored, learn practical skills and find a pathway into work and opportunity.
